Road rules
- Vehicles drive on the right hand side of the road
- Digital cameras for registering traffic violations, including speeding, are in use on Kuwaiti roads
- Repeat traffic violations or violations of a serious nature may result in the deportation of an expatriate offender
- When a driver flashes his full beam in Kuwait, it is a request to other motorists to move their car into a slower lane to allow the driver with the flashing beams to proceed ahead
- There is also little use of indicators and little lane discipline
Driving regulations
- Minimum age for rental:
- 21 years of age
- Rental rates may be higher for renters aged 21-24
- Driving Licence:
- International Driving Permit
