City Driving

  • Congested streets are characteristic of urban driving

  • Traffic signals do not always function which can make negotiating city streets a challenging and slightly pressured experience

County Driving

  • There are good road surfaces on highways and average quality for secondary routes

  • Medium to heavy traffic is likely in inhabited areas, especially trucks

  • On the rough, unpaved tracks in the mountains or desert, drivers generally need a good deal of driving and mechanical confidence

  • On mountain roads, motorists need to be aware of gravel, which can fly up and pose quite a danger, particularly on bends
