    • Fuel stations are not as numerous as in other countries, so it is advisable to fill up whenever possible
    • Credit cards and debit cards are generally accepted
    • Regular unleaded petrol has an octane rating of 91; the octane rating of super is 96
    • Unleaded petrol is called kursunsuz benzin
    • Unleaded super petrol has an octane rating of 95
    • Diesel also goes by the name mazot or dizel
    • LPG is getting more popular and is available at many stations
  3. Parking advice:
    • It is advisable to find designated car parking areas, or for short stays, areas where there are parking signs  
    • There is no metered parking in Turkey, parking officials monitor the streets and collect fees for on street parking
    • Most cities have garages and public parking lots
