Road rules
- A car flashing its full beam is generally asking for a chance to pass
- Driving on Hard Shoulders is not permitted. It is a serious crime resulting with heavy fines and vehicle being impounded if caught
Driving regulations
- Minimum age for rental:
- 25 years of age
- 25 years of age
- Driving Licence:
- An International Driving Permit carried in conjunction with valid full national driving licence is recommended for driving in Dubai and the UAE
- The drivers licence should be valid for at least 1 year
